I've been looking at getting a wide angle lens for a while. After weighing up my options I decided to go for a 17-50mm lens for cropped frame sensors. Sigma has developed new-ish FLD glass, heard some good things about it, and, given the limited number of wide angle lenses generally available, particularly those designed for crop sensors, it seemed like the way to go.
